A Small Nursery, Big Dreams for Upland Farmers
Sometimes, great change begins with a small seed. The story of Khun Yore, a farmer from Ban Don Ku, Chiang Rai, represents a first step of hope toward restoring the land and building a more sustainable way of farming together with the community.

Success Story: Tea Seedling Nursery Development
“I became a member of a VSLA group and a farmer demonstrator for tree seedling nursery development, particularly tea seedling production. It was a new challenge for me because I had no prior knowledge or capital to get started. I am grateful to the Upland Holistic Development Foundation (UHDF) for providing me with the opportunity and knowledge, from sowing the seeds through to nursery management. Today, I have successfully produced around 10,000 tea seedlings in my nursery.”
